Donnie S. Barnes, Th.D.

Donnie S. Barnes, Th.D. is an author and minister among the churches of Christ. Born in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, and reared in Bridgeport, Alabama, he holds a:

Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) from David Lipscomb College (Lipscomb University)
Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) degree from The University of Tennessee School of Social Work
Doctor of Theology (Th.D.) degree from Trinity Theological Seminary

He has taught at Freed-Hardeman University, where he served as Director of Social Work and Chairman of the Department of Family and Social Services, and Lipscomb University.
